The Leone d’Oro Olive Oil Competition, held in Italy consists of four separate tastings plus a final tasting by a panel of 10 experts over a period of 6-10 weeks. Scores are given each time then averaged across the four separate evaluations to arrive at a numerical ranking of the oil. Olio Presto from Brezza Tirrena Italia received a Gold Grand Mention recognition scoring >90-100. Brezza Tirrena also received a silver medal for design.
